The Reason Why

In Calgary, the May long weekend (May 22) everyone rushes out, buys flowers, plants gardens. I never do until the first week of June.

This morning shows the reason why.
My poor willow.


Good news is I can start looking for flowers and seeds next week!

Oh, man ... how do you stand it?! Were you born in Canada? I guess when this is "your normal," you just embrace it.

Maybe. :)

I now know I will no longer complain because my coleus wilted after a cold snap ... as in, a freakish evening temperature of 42. That's nothin' compared to you all!

Wow ... seriously ... I'm in shock! Looks like your tree friend there might be too! :)
